While such products can be useful for people who want to minimize their exposure to coffee’s harmful properties, they cannot provide an argument for the positive effects of coffee, especially when consumed in large amounts. Coffee that contains high concentrations of antioxidants may be helpful in preventing cancer, but the intake of such products should be limited to people with cancer risk factors, as they can increase the risk of cancer in people without these diseases. In general, coffee that contains small amounts of antioxidants can help normalize blood glucose levels.
